Our Priorities: Safety and Efficiency

At TDG we are committed to two key priorities: safety and efficiency. These priorities give our clients peace of mind that we are doing everything we can to minimise risks, provide a safe workplace and offer the best value for money.

Prioritising Safety

At TDG our first priority is safety – the safety of our workers, the safety of other people working on site and the safety of the general public affected by our operations. We facilitate this by integrating the requirements of the Australian Standards for Occupational Health and Safety (AS/NZS 4801:2001) and international standards for Quality Assurance (ISO 9001:2008), with our own organisational operating processes and procedures for risk minimisation, achieving compliance and driving business improvement (the TDG Integrated Management System).

We pay particular attention to risk management and harm minimisation in our systems and processes. For every project, we have a procedure for identifying risks and hazards and formulating relevant site-specific risk management strategies.

We conduct constant evaluation and improvements of our Integrated Management System (IMS) to ensure full compliance with OH&S requirements and strict adherence to all codes and standards relevant to traffic management.

Operating Efficiently

At TDG we believe our efficient operations benefit our clients by saving time, money and delivering key stakeholder satisfaction. We pride ourselves on our customer focus and we really listen to our clients to understand their needs.

Our new custom-designed operations database has contributed greatly to the productivity of our operations. This database enables us to deploy staff in an accurate and timely manner, creating efficiencies for TDG and our clients.

Our management systems were also designed with a focus on safety and efficiency. Our policies and procedures provide clear and consistent processes for dealing with clients, project planning and management, day-to-day record keeping, incident reporting and communications.

During a project we guarantee the daily completion of safe work method statements (SWMS), signage diaries and site audits. Our clients can have complete confidence that all onsite compliance and safety requirements for the services we provide are being met.

We have invested in a new fleet of vehicles and keep all our equipment regularly maintained in order to avoid downtime caused by equipment failure and ensure we can meet our clients’ needs during the delivery of their project.
